- Threaded PVC pipe cap
- Threaded PVC pipe insert
- Faux leather
- Scrap of clear plastic
- Colored permanent markers
- Brass coloured paint or paint marker
- Glue Gun
- Hand saw or PVC pipe cutter
We started off by cutting our PVC pipe insert just long enough to fit inside the PVC pipe cap and painted the piping bronze; these will act as our frames. When dry, trace the frames onto plastic, colored them our desired lens color, and placed them into the frames.
Next we cut two identical triangles of faux leather to wrap around the PVC pipe cap to make the eye cups. After that we cut a medium sized rectangular piece (roughly 5in x 1in) to act as a nose gap between the frames of the goggles. Then we wrapped and glued the eyecups around the frames, carefully inserting the nose gap between them.
Finally, we cut more rectangular strips of faux leather to make the headband and attached them to the eyecups, and added gears as decoration.
