MAKER SPACE SATURDAY – BOATS

Calling all artists, inventors, builders, and thinkers! This monthly STEAM-Based kids program will challenge you to solve problems and get creative with a variety of everyday items (rubber bands, cardboard, batteries, etc.).

Legos and art supplies will be set out for anyone to use during the program – but these areas are especially geared for younger kids (2-6yrs). For older kids (7-12), this month’s Maker Challenge will get you dreaming of summer days on the water. We will be making BOATS! Using a variety of materials, you can make a vessel of your own design and then test it out on the water. Will it sink or sail?
