Description

Black and white photo image of the railroad bridge across the Ohio River at Sciotoville under construction.
Construction began in the spring of 1916 and the first train crossed July 1917. Construction was overseen by the McClintic-Marshall Company of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The bridge is 3463 feet in length allowing trains of the CSX Railroad to pass over the Ohio River.
