Craft with Youth Services for Saint Patrick’s Day this year and create your own mini Leprechaun peg dolls. Sometimes painting this old fashioned toys can be tricky but very rewarding (you might get rewarded in GOLD!) Craft is for Children Ages 12 & under March 17th at 6pm

Holiday Budding Bookworms Storytime

We might do a little singing & dancing, a little bit of arts & crafts, but always do a whole lot of learning as we grow into readers and book lovers aka bookworms๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ“š๐ŸŽ Formerly known as Books N’ Play, the Budding Bookworms Storytime is for ages 4-6 and is the next level up from the Wiggle Worms Storytime.

Living like a Studio Ghibli Film

Are you a fan of Studio Ghibli films? US TOO! Let’s create soot sprites or paint your own Totoro knick knack! This night will be filled with Ghibli inspired crafts while we enjoy some of our favorite films together. Program participants will be limited at the Main branch. Grow A Rainbow: Virtual Programming

Children can enjoy this short video showing how to grow a rainbow at home. This program not only stretches a Child’s imagination and creativity but it illustrates some principles of mindfulness. Kids get an example for how fear and negativity impacts their well being and how to counter it. Follow along the rainbow road to learn how to calm your mind and pickup an activity that helps a child focus and evaluate their feelings. Monty Monster Saves the Holidays

It’s that special time of year where we celebrate giving to others and Monty Monster has made a giant mistake! He forget a gift for Mamaw Monster! Monty has to figure out a way to get a gift fast but with no money or craft supplies, Monty feels hopeless. Although our beloved fuzzball feels hopeless, there is hope because the library is always there to help the jolly green monster!
