We might do a little singing & dancing, a little bit of arts & crafts, but always do a whole lot of learning as we grow into readers and book lovers aka bookworms🐛📚🍎 Formerly known as Books N’ Play, the Budding Bookworms Storytime is for ages 4-6 and is the next level up from the Wiggle Worms Storytime.

Glitter Snow Globe
Register at the Wheelersburg Library (740) 574-6116 to make this blinged out, glittertastic snow globe. This program is for children ages 4-8. Space is limited so don’t hesitate! Makes a great gift for someone you love. Children ages 4 and up will be required to wear a mask.
Christmas Countdown Craft
It’s Christmas time (and SANTA!) will be here before you know it. Count down the days by making your very own Chalkboard Countdown Sign. This kids craft will be in-person in the Youth Services Department at Main branch on Tuesday December 7th at 6:00pm. Registration is required. Call 740-354-5562 to reserve your child’s seat.
Handmade Holidays
Holidays just got easier with your Portsmouth Public Library. Join us on December 7th to make a special gift! Choose from a variety of gifts to make including unique jewelry and ornaments. You can even stop by the gift wrap station to wrap, ribbon and go! This FREE program is for ages 13+ and begins at 2:30 on the main floor.
Santa Visit
Come to the Lucasville Library and meet the big man himself! Visits will be drive up only and do require registration. Let Santa know what you’d like for Christmas and take home a treat!!
Family Story Time
Family Story time is for any child 6 and under. Join us as we read, play, and craft. The program begins at 10:30am and lasts about an hour. For more information, call the South Webster Library at 740-778-2122.
