Let your child’s imagination grow while learning math and money management skills. Youth Services has set up a mini Book fair for your child to enjoy by playing different parts such as patron and salesperson! The best part is that the money is fake but the purchases are real. Maker Space Saturday

Calling all artists, inventors, builders, and thinkers! This monthly STEAM-Based kids program will challenge you to solve problems and get creative with a variety of everyday items (rubber bands, cardboard, batteries, etc.). Every month there will be a different Maker Challenge for you to tackle, but if you just want to tinker, LEGOS and art supplies will be set out for anyone to use! Littles should be supervised by a parent during free play with legos and art supplies.

Wooden Leprechaun Dolls Craft

Craft with Youth Services for Saint Patrick’s Day this year and create your own mini Leprechaun peg dolls. Sometimes painting this old fashioned toys can be tricky but very rewarding (you might get rewarded in GOLD!) Craft is for Children Ages 12 & under March 17th at 6pm

Valentine’s Day is lame and over so let’s celebrate what is really important in life… YOUR BESTIES!!!!! Decorate cookies and create friendship bracelets for your BFFs while enjoying snacks and refreshments We will be playing all the best girl power movies and dabble in some Taylor Swift style karaoke! Bring all your friends so we can show the world that Girls just wanna have fun and take as many fantastic pics of your crew at our photo station! Take Your Child to the Library Day

Winter blues got you down? Then come to Portsmouth Public Library where you will have an un-brr-lieveable good time. Face off with a hungry snowman by feeding him snowballs or prove your waddling skills in a penguin relay. Bring a touch of winter inside by creating your very own waterless snow globe to take home.
