Adults True Crime Club- Kathleen Peterson’s death, A perfect Murder?

August 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Event Navigation

True Crime Club, Kathleen Peterson’s death, A perfect Murder? Each month we will focus on a different true crime case with theories, suspects and coverage being discussed. Interviews and videos will also be used to analyze the details of the different cases. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is required. Open to all.
The biggest “rule” for this program was to not glorify the convicted and to be respectful of the victim, being it was someone’s loved one. We will look for books that pertain to the cases if patrons want to read or listen. I just research and create a presentation to flip through and show evidence and pictures (not extremely graphic of course) and create discussion questions. We will put theories or something on giant post it’s around the room for polls on something, just to make it a little more interactive. At the end we will have True Crime Trivia. It will include different questions with 3 levels of difficulty. Questions will be about murders, kidnappings, forensics, statistics and more. True Crime Club begins at 6pm. For more information, call the South Webster Branch Library at 740-778-2122.
