Shifting Shadows Chalk Art and Solar Oven Snacks

Stop into the library and get ready for the biggest celestial phenomenon of the year – a Total Solar Eclipse! Kids can learn about the movements of the earth and moon that make a Solar Eclipse possible while making chalk art of shadows to show how the Sun moves across the sky. Little astronauts can pass the time waiting for the shadows to shift, playing in our space themed sensory bins or making and snacking on some yummy treats from our homemade solar ovens. Earthlings 12 & under are invited to this event!
